DPHD to oversee MRC activities
The Delaware Public Health District (DPHD) has been granted $247,793 to oversee the coordination of Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) activities in Ohio’s Central region. DPHD was selected as one of eight regional subrecipients by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Bureau of Health Preparedness to strengthen local MRC capacity and response abilities.

Program to highlight Stratford’s industrial history
As part of the Delaware County Industrial History program series, the Delaware County Historical Society will present a program on the village of Stratford. Beginning with a 1807 gristmill, built by John Beard, to the current auto dealership, this program will cover the many businesses and industries which called the village of Stratford their home.

Red Cross: Blood donors needed
The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage as the nation faces the lowest number of people giving blood in 20 years. The Red Cross blood supply has fallen to critically low levels across the country, and blood and platelet donors are urged to make a donation appointment to help alleviate the shortage and help ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not put on hold.
