Three elected to Delaware City Council
Three seats on the Delaware City Council were decided by voters as part of Tuesday’s general election. Linsey Griffith, Adam Haynes, and Kevin Rider each won races in their respective wards, while incumbent Cory Hoffman ran unopposed in the Third Ward.
Carson, Stranges publish book
Local historian Brent Carson and Hayes High School Principal Ric Stranges recently published a book titled “Carried Treasures: Stories of Delaware County, Ohio,” which the authors hope will keep local tales alive and well for future generations.
Results: 2023 general election
Below are the unoffical results of the Nov. 7 general election. According to the Delaware County Board of Elections, 95,493 total ballots (59.86%) were cast out of 159,535 registered voters.
Traffic pattern to change at The Point
This week, Americans are adjusting to falling back an hour as daylight saving time ended on Nov. 5. Next week, locals will have to adjust to a new traffic pattern if they travel through The Point along Central Avenue and William Street.
Band ends season on high note
