Delaware police report:

A 16-year-old was fighting with her mother at their home on Village Gate Boulevard Monday afternoon. The mother called police to report that her daughter had shoved her against a wall and became disorderly after they had a disagreement related to the daughter’s car and cellphone. The daughter continued to be “turbulent” in front of police officers and charges of unruly juvenile behavior will be forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A man was assaulted by his girlfriend at their home on West Central Avenue Monday just before 1 a.m. Police arrived and found the man with a minor injury to his neck. He told police his girlfriend, who was intoxicated, had assaulted him during an argument about their relationship. Officers spoke to the woman, who was still intoxicated, and placed her under arrest for domestic violence. She was taken to the Delaware County Jail.

A man attempted to contact his former wife despite her protection order against him Monday afternoon. The woman called police to report that her ex-husband contacted her via phone several times in the last week. She provided officers with recordings of the calls and asked to file charges. Police said charges are pending.
