Delaware police report:

A 59-year-old man said he was assaulted by three people Friday night in the area of Frank Street. Police spoke to the man, who had visible injuries to his face, and learned that he had confronted three teenagers about their behavior and was punched in the face. When he turned to leave, he was knocked to the ground and kicked by the teenagers. The man declined medical attention. Police said charges against the teens are pending.

A 19-year-old woman was pulled over Friday night for driving left of center and not using her headlights in the area of South Liberty Street. During the stop, police learned the girl was intoxicated and under age. She was arrested and charged with underage consumption and OVI, as well as several traffic citations.

A 21-year-old man was pulled over in the area of Belle Avenue after police checked his license plate and learned the owner’s license had been suspended. The man arrested for driving under suspension. The man’s 18-year-old female passenger was asked to exit the car and police discovered she was in possession of a bottle of rum. Marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia were also discovered in the car. The woman was charged with prohibition and the man was also charged with possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
