Delaware police report:

A woman was hit in the head while waiting in line for food Saturday morning. Police said a woman reported she was waiting in line at Dan’s Deli, a food trailer, while it was parked in the area of Spring Street and South Sandusky Street when a man smacked her on the head several times. The woman was uninjured and she pointed the man out to police. The man denied knowing what happened but officers, after speaking with witnesses, charged the man with disorderly conduct. Police also determined he was under the age of 21 and had been drinking alcohol. He was also charged with underage consumption.

A woman was trespassing at Kroger on Houk Road Monday night. Staff told police the woman had been issued a trespass warning in 2015 and, in spite of that warning, she was discovered trying to shoplift items Monday night. Police arrested and charged her with criminal trespass and theft before taking her to the Delaware County Jail.
