Westerville man indicted for cashing fraudulent checks

A Westerville man was indicted Friday by a Delaware County grand jury on 22 charges related to cashing bad checks.

Adam N. Baker, 34, of Westerville was indicted on a charge of telecommunications fraud, a third-degree felony; four counts of theft, fourth-degree felonies; 11 counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies; two counts of tampering with records, third-degree felonies; a charge of identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony; and two counts of passing bad checks, fourth-degree felonies.

Court documents state that Baker cashed several fraudulent checks and committed fraud on several occasions between May 8, 2012, and December 2015.

An arraignment for Baker has not been scheduled.

Other individuals indicted include:

• Tara L. Wilson, of Grove City, on a charge of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony. An arraignment has been set for June 3 at 9:30 a.m.

• Kimberlee Bouziane, 54, of Delaware, on two counts of assault, fifth-degree felonies. An arraignment has been set for March 29 at 1:30 p.m.

• Brian K. Schlutow, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, fifth-degree felonies. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Patrick D. Randall Jr., of 134 Coover Road, Delaware, on two counts of theft, which are fifth-degree felonies. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Janice D. Huff, at large, on one charge of theft and seven counts of forgery, all fifth-degree felonies. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Brenda J. Fletcher, of 77 Park Ave., Delaware, on two counts of workers’ compensation fraud and a charge of theft, all fourth-degree felonies. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Richard C. Merrow, of 462 Heritage Blvd., on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony; and a charge of theft and a charge of receiving stolen property, fourth-degree felonies. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Ashley E. Ellison, of 3711 Columbus Pike, Delaware, on a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony; and a charge of prohibited acts involving certificate of title, which court documents state is an unclassified felony charge. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Timothy W. Slone, of Grove City, on a charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony. An arraignment has not been scheduled.

• Miranda A. King, of Grove City, on a charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony. An arraignment has not been scheduled.
