Delaware police report:

A furnace was stolen from a home under construction on Ferguson Avenue overnight Monday. The owner reported the theft the next morning.

An intoxicated man was crawling on the ground near the Delaware County District Library Tuesday morning. Police found the man was too intoxicated to take care of himself and was transported to a residence where he was released to a sober party. However, police received a call that afternoon about a man stumbling and nearly falling into the ditch on the city bike path between Ross Street and Noble Street. Police arrived and found the same man, still intoxicated, and transported him to the Delaware County Jail after charging him with persistent disorderly conduct.

A car was pulled over for speeding in the area of U.S. 23 and South Sandusky Street Tuesday right after midnight. During the stop, officers conducted a search of the vehicle and found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested and charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also cited for speeding and not wearing a seat belt.
