Delaware County Commissioner Jeff Benton received a pair of high-heel shoes Monday so he can participate in the annual “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” event. The event is held to raise awareness about sexualized violence. The free event will be on Friday, May 6, at 7 p.m. on the corner of Sandusky and Winter streets as part of May’s First Friday event.
