Free fresh produce will be distributed Aug. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — or until food runs out — at Harlem Road United Methodist Church, 5520 Harlem Road, Galena.

The distribution is sponsored by Mid Ohio Food Bank and SidebySide Outreach. SidebySide Outreach is made up of Church of the Saviour UM, Galena United Methodist Church, Harlem Road United Methodist Church, New Albany United Methodist Church, New Albany Church of the Resurrection, and Harlem Township Helping Hands.

Other planned distribution dates this year are Sept. 19, Oct. 17, Nov. 21 and Dec. 19.

Attendees are asked to bring your own boxes, bags and carts. Participants must be at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
