Path cleared for new DACC driveway

While construction on the Delaware Area Career Center’s consolidated campus won’t begin until later this year, construction crews have cleared trees out of the area where the campus’ new driveway will be. Officials told the DACC Board of Education they had to clear the trees out before April 1, when Indiana bats begin to migrate to the area for the season. The new driveway is designed to ease traffic from the school and to separate student traffic and bus traffic.
