Man indicted for credit card theft

A Kentucky man accused of stealing and using stolen credit cards was indicted Friday by a Delaware County grand jury.

Cecil T. Turner, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, was indicted on four counts of identity fraud, which are fourth-degree felonies; four counts of receiving stolen property, fifth-degree felonies; and four counts of misuse of credit cards, fifth-degree felonies.

“Mr. Turner allegedly took credit cards out of several unlocked motor vehicles,” said county Prosecutor Carol O’Brien. “Later, those credit cards were used at stores such as Meijer, Wal-Mart, Macy’s and Target.”

An arraignment has not yet been scheduled in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.

The grand jury also indicted:

• Yasmani Quijada, of Miramar, Florida, on a charge of theft, a fourth-degree felony; five counts of receiving stolen property, fifth-degree felonies; possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony; and three counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies.

• Joshua Smith, of Marengo, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, fifth-degree felonies.

• Nandor Santho, of Marion, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, fifth-degree felonies.

• Thomas C. Romine, of Newark, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, fifth-degree felonies.

• Melissa Crawford, of Nokomis, Florida, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, fourth-degree felonies.

• Justin Mathews, of Columbus, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to nonsupport of dependents, fifth-degree felonies.

• Kimberly L. Dailey, of Lewis Center, trespass in habitation, a fourth-degree felony.

• Crystal L. Boring, 30, of Delaware, domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony; and two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Austen J. McElroy, of 5151 Harlem Road, on two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, fourth-degree felonies.

• Tabatha E. Chapman, of 227 W. Winter St., theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• Eva M. Richey, of Sunbury, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer, a third-degree felony; theft, a fifth-degree felony; and endangering children, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Kristin D. Vance, of Grove City, forgery, a fourth-degree felony; and theft, a fifth-degree felony.

• Dawn B. Burnett, 39, of Ostrander, on five counts of theft, of which three are fifth-degree felonies and two are fourth-degree felonies; misuse of credit cards, a fourth-degree felony; and four counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies.

• Scott C. Bargdill, of 120 N. Washington St., on three counts of receiving stolen property, two of which are fifth-degree felonies and the other is a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Cory M. Upperman, 24, of Sunbury, theft, a third-degree felony.

• Latasha N. Fisher, 27, of Mount Vernon, domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony.

Arraignments in common pleas court have not been scheduled.
