Genoa Township’s annual spring cleanup will begin on Saturday, April 23, and run through Sunday, May 1, at the township’s safety services complex, 7049 Big Walnut Road.

The annual service is provided to township residents only. Proof of residency is required in the form of a driver’s license, utility bill, etc. Collection hours will be daily from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m.

The township will provide four roll-off containers set up for general trash, two set up for yard waste (no plastic bags), and one container for metal materials.

While the township will try to accept most items that residents would like to dispose of, items not accepted will be tires, batteries, paint, oil, appliances, wire fencing, computers, monitors or any material that is corrosive, toxic, flammable or reactive. However, televisions will be accepted.
