Big Walnut Middle School Assistant Principal Josh Frame has been named as the middle school’s principal, beginning next school year.

“As you may know, we have been working to fill the middle school principal role, due to our current principal, Penny Sturtevant, becoming our district testing and college and career readiness coordinator for the 2016-17 school year,” Superintendent Angie Pollock wrote in an email distributed district-wide. “After two rounds of interviews with several candidates, we determined that the best fit for this role is our current assistant principal at the middle school, Josh Frame.”

Pollock said the central office administration team’s recommendation would still require board of education approval. The board meets at 6:30 p.m. today in the Big Walnut High School Innovation Center.

“Josh has had a positive impact on our students and community over the last two years as the assistant principal,” Pollock said. “I look forward to his continued passion and hard work to inspire and guide our students.”
