Delaware police report:

A car window was smashed at an address on Winding Valley Drive overnight Wednesday. The owner told police several items were stolen. Other residents on Winding Valley Drive also reported their unlocked vehicles were entered overnight.

A passer-by called to report suspicious activity that looked like a drug deal in the area of Park Avenue and South Sandusky Street Wednesday morning. Soon after, police stopped a vehicle matching the description provided by the caller and found marijuana paraphernalia in the car. The driver was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Parents reported their 15-year-old daughter had run away from her home on South Sandusky Street Thursday morning. However, the girl had returned home by the time police arrived. No charges were filed.

Residents of Autumn Blaze Drive reported their unlocked vehicles had been entered overnight Wednesday. The owners told police that several items were stolen.

A lawnmower was stolen from a residence on Parker Street sometime before Thursday afternoon.

A mother said her 17-year-old son hit her during an argument at their home on Georgetowne Drive Thursday afternoon. The son was arrested and charges of assault were forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.
