A 16-year-old left home without permission and would not tell his mother where he was Wednesday afternoon. The mother reported she had also been contacted by Delaware Hayes High School officials, who said he had not shown up for school that day. Officers learned the student is currently on probation in Delaware Juvenile Court and theorized that the teen was with another juvenile who is also on probation and had left home without permission. Both boys were later found at a friend’s home and arrested. They were taken to the Central Ohio Youth Center to await further Delaware County Juvenile Court proceedings.
