The Powell Chamber of Commerce will host the seventh annual “Taste of Powell” event on Thursday, May 19, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Columbus Zoo’s Water’s Edge Events Park.
Tickets cost $35 per person for the 21-and-over event, organizers say, and can be ordered online at www.tasteofpowell.com, or by calling the chamber at 614-888-1090. Tickets can also be purchased at the Powell Delaware County Bank locations, Culvers, Midwest Technical Associates and the chamber. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Musical entertainment will be provided by the Conspiracy Band from 7 to 9 p.m.
“Visitors will once again enjoy fantastic cuisine from Powell’s top restaurateurs,” said Tanya McCarthy, chamber executive director.
Featured restaurants will include Ange’s Pizza, A Taste to Remember Catering, Azteca Mexican Grill, Bridgewater Banquet & Conference Center, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, City Barbeque, CostCo, Culver’s of Powell, Daily Growler, Flyers Pizza & Subs, Liberty Tavern, Parisi Brew Thru, Powell Village Winery, Raising Cane’s, Sam’s Club, Star Lanes, Watershed Distillery, The Bogey Bar & Grill, The Morgan House, The Old Bag of Nails, Tim Horton’s of Powell and Yabo’s Tacos.
The event will be held rain or shine. Food vendors will be in covered pavilions. Visitors should dress casually, organizers say.
