Grand jury issues indictments

A Delaware County grand jury returned a number of indictments recently.

The individuals indicted Friday include:

• Kenneth L. Diamond, of Youngstown, on two counts of rape, first-degree felonies.

• Elizabeth A. Terry, 48, of Ostrander, on a charge of tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony.

• Larry D. Cochran Jr., 53, of Columbus, on eight counts of theft (six charges are fifth-degree felonies and two are first-degree misdemeanors); four counts of forgery, which are fifth-degree felonies; and two counts of attempted forgery, first-degree misdemeanors.

• Michael L. Cummings on a charge of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony; theft, a fifth-degree felony; and possessing criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony.

• Demetrius A. Caldwell of Mount Vernon, on a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.

• Spencer E. Haney of 2753 Pollock Road, , on a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony; two counts of forgery, fifth-degree felonies; and a charge of misuse of credit cards, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Jessica R. Warner, of Newark, on two counts of theft, fifth-degree felonies.

• Joseph A. Hannah, of Newark, on two counts of theft, fifth-degree felonies.

• Ralph P. Edwards, of Kernersville, North Carolina, on a charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

• Taylor N. Sampson, of Orient, Ohio, on a charge of identity fraud, a fourth-degree felony; a charge of misuse of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony; and a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.

• Brian J. Matthews, 36, of Columbus, on a charge of identity fraud, a fourth-degree felony; a charge of misuse of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony; and a charge of receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony.

Arraignments in Delaware County Common Pleas Court have not been scheduled.
