Newbery Medal award-winning author Kwame Alexander spoke to Delaware Hayes High School students Wednesday morning at the school’s library. Alexander spoke to elementary schools students Tuesday and the middle and high school students on Wednesday about his award-winning novel “The Crossover” and answered the questions they had about the novel and his influences.
