Students present wreath at Arlington

Four eighth-graders from Delaware’s Dempsey Middle School presented a wreath Thursday morning at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery during the eighth-grade class’ Washington, D.C., trip. Pictured, from left to right, are Abby Stephens, Mary Grace Duffy, Katie Smith and Evelyn Fowler. School officials said the students won essay contests in order to be able to place the wreath. The wreath was donated by Josie Posie Flowers.
