Delaware police report:

A male student slapped a female student Thursday afternoon at Delaware Hayes High School. A staff member saw the incident and immediately reported it to school administrators and the school resource officer. The female student was not injured. Charges of disorderly conduct and unruly juvenile against the male student were forwarded to Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A mother said her 13-year-old son was being unruly Thursday afternoon at their home on Bruce Road. The mother told police that earlier in the day her son had gone out with some friends after being told he was not allowed to go. When he returned, the mother confronted him and he became angry, punching a hole in a window. Charges of unruly juvenile and criminal damaging will be forwarded to Delaware County Juvenile Court.
