Honorees at the banquet will be:

Lucas taught English at Ashley for three years, taught English at the Radnor middle school for 12 years, and helped with the junior and senior class plays. She is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University with a bachelor of science degree in education. She assisted her late husband in many Radnor school and community functions. Larry and “Netty” had three children — Larry, Linda and Lance. Her two grandchildren are Jaqueline and Andrew.

• The late Frank Wright was the custodian at Radnor school for 12 years. He was hired in 1942 and retired in 1954. Wright also worked for the Penry Stone Co. He injured his arm in a conveyor accident and then took the job at the school. During his time at Radnor, he was the only custodian. Mr. Wright had two children — son Paul and daughter June.
