Delaware Historical Society President Brent Carson shows Willis Intermediate School fifth-graders a yearbook from when 98-year-old Willis alumna Charlotte Gallant (seated on right) was a student at Willis in the 1930s. Carson detailed the history of Willis and shared how a fire forced the district to build Willis. Wednesday is the last day for students at Willis Intermediate School as the district moves to a kindergarten through fifth-grade structure at the district elementary schools and sixth graders are moved to Dempsey Middle School.
