The city of Delaware and Trucco Construction Co. will undertake two different water distribution connections near Pennsylvania Avenue and North Sandusky Street and Heffner Street and North Sandusky on Wednesday, June 8, weather permitting.

Water service interruptions will be necessary and notices will be made 24 hours in advance to the affected residents, city officials said. Pavement restoration will occur next week.

The Pennsylvania Avenue work will take place within the already-closed Pennsylvania Avenue on/off ramp while the Heffner Street work will take place within the intersection of Heffner and North Sandusky. This intersection will be closed while the connection is made.

City officials said they will make every effort to provide advance notice of any non-emergency water shutdown, but customers can expect to be without water service will this work is being completed.
