Lancaster man indicted on nine more sex assault charges

Nine counts of unlawful sexual conflict with a minor have been filed against a Lancaster man who was already facing 12 charges in Delaware County Common Pleas Court in connection with allegedly raping a Delaware County girl.

Brent Plummer, 26, was already facing nine counts of rape, which are first-degree felonies; and three counts of gross sexual imposition, which are fourth-degree felonies, when he was indicted by a grand jury Friday on an additional nine counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, which are third-degree felonies.

According to the indictment, between Jan. 1 and Feb. 22, Plummer sexual assaulted a Delaware County girl. Genoa Township police said in February that the girl was 14 at the time of the alleged crime.

Plummer was in the Delaware County Jail Friday, awaiting his second arraignment in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.

The other individuals indicted by the grand jury Friday include:

• Taura N. Mitchell, of Westerville, on one charge of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. An arraignment has been set for Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.

• KC A. Diamond on three counts of theft (a fourth-degree felony, a fifth-degree felony and a first-degree misdemeanor); and a charge of misuse of credit cards, a first-degree misdemeanor. An arraignment has been set for Aug. 8 at 9:30 a.m.

• Georgina L. Beckman, of Columbus, theft, a fifth-degree felony. An arraignment has been set for Aug. 8 at 9 a.m.

Arraignments have not been scheduled for the following individuals who were indicted Friday:

• David W. Holland, of Delaware, on five counts of aggravated robbery, which are first-degree felonies, and one charge of receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Michelle Lynn Byas, of Delaware, on five counts of aggravated robbery, which are first-degree felonies, and one charge of receiving stolen property, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Billy D. Jackson, of Mount Vernon, on a charge of having weapons while under disability, which is a third-degree felony, and a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Christine M. Hardin, of Dublin, vandalism, a fifth-degree felony.

• Timothy Y. Abrokwa, of Columbus, on two counts of theft (a fourth-degree felony and a fifth-degree felony) ; and a charge of forgery, a fourth-degree felony.

• Holly A. Meadows, of Ashley, domestic violence, a fifth-degree felony.

• Marlayna A. Kasser, of Lewis Center, on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony; a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony; and a charge of criminal damaging, a second-degree misdemeanor.

• Henry Jewel Hill, 37 of San Leandro, California, on two counts of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, which are third-degree felonies; and a charge of theft, a charge of possessing criminal tools and nine counts of receiving stolen property, all fifth-degree felonies.

• Robert C. Williams, on a charge of theft, a charge of possessing criminal tools and eight counts of receiving stolen property, all fifth-degree felonies.

• Jonathan D. Brandon on two counts of identity fraud, which are fourth-degree felonies; a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony; two counts of forgery, which are fifth degree felonies; and a charge of misuse of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony.

• Jeffrey J. Odebrecht, of Powell, on a charge of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony; obstructing official business, a fifth-degree felony; and driving under an OVI suspension, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Jodie A. Monnette, of 126 S. Franklin St., No. 24, Delaware, on two counts of obstructing justice, which are fifth-degree felonies.
