The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help to identify two men who are believed to have been involved in a robbery and assault of a 17-year-old male.
The victim stated he was hiking a trail at Highbanks Metro Park on Friday, June 3, at 7:30 p.m. when he was attacked and robbed, deputies said. The assailants fled on foot. The victim was injured and was treated by medics at the park.
The victim described “Suspect A” as a light-complexion black male in his mid-20s, who is about 6-foot-2 and weighs 165 pounds, and has a chin-strap style of beard. “Suspect B” was described as a black male in his 20s who is about 6 feet tall. The victim stated that he did not see a third assailant, who grabbed him from behind, deputies.
