Park programs planned

Preservation Parks of Delaware County has several programs planned in July.

They include:

• “Picnic in the Park,” Friday, July 15, 6:30 p.m. Bring your own picnic dinner, see a “Birds-of-Prey” program by the Ohio Wildlife Center, and then have Dutch oven dump cake with ice cream. Go to www.preservationparks.com to register by July 11 for this program. Free; all ages. Deer Haven Park, 4183 Liberty Road, Delaware.

• “From Patch to Pie,” Saturday, July 2, 2 p.m. Come to the farm and pick strawberries and sample summer treats. Free; all ages. Gallant Farm, 2150 Buttermilk Hill Road, Delaware. Advance registration is not required.

• “Thursday Evening Concert Series,” Thursday, July 7, 7 to 8:30 p.m. The concert series will start off with Code Blue Band, a blues, swing and 1980s-’90s band. Admission and parking are free, and donations will be accepted. Attendees may bring blankets, lawn chairs and refreshments, or purchase food from a different food truck at each concert. Alcohol is prohibited in the park. Free; all ages. Gallant Woods Park, 2151 Buttermilk Hill Road, Delaware. Advance registration is not required.
