Delaware police report:

An enclosed trailer was stolen Monday morning from behind the Delaware Square Shopping Center on U.S. 23. The trailer contained various work tools which, including the trailer itself, are valued at more than $22,000. Police have no suspects.

Two homes in a new development on Ferguson Drive were burglarized early Monday morning. From inside one home, a condenser unit was stolen; an air conditioning unit was taken from the outside of the other.

A 36-year-old woman was arrested Monday for the assault of a 19-year-old female. Officers were summoned to a residence on Gruber Street regarding an adult client engaging in violent behavior. Officers learned the client had physically assaulted — punched, kicked and scratched — a staff member who has been placed in the home to assist her. The woman was arrested and held at the Delaware County Jail on charges of assault. Behavioral health issues played a role in this incident, police said.
