Delaware police report:

Police were summoned to a business on South Sandusky Street Sunday around 2:15 a.m. on the report of a domestic violence situation. However, when officers arrived and spoke to the alleged victim, she declined to cooperate with the investigation and declined prosecution. The case is considered closed.

Officers were summoned to the emergency room at Grady Memorial Hospital to Sunday around 4 a.m. to deal with an intoxicated man. Officers learned the man had been brought to the ER for a cut but was extremely uncooperative and was trying to leave the hospital. Staff said the man was being loud and cursing at staff at the hospital. Police found the man was intoxicated and unable to take care of himself. He was taken into custody. Police asked him if there was a sober party they could leave him with, but he would not provide a name and continued to be disorderly and continued to swear at officers. Ultimately, he was charged with disorderly conduct, taken to the ER where his cut was treated and then he was released to a sober party.

A mother was fighting with her adult daughter Sunday morning at their home on North Washington Street. Police learned the mother and daughter had been fighting over money and the altercation resulted in knocked-over furniture, broken decorations and other damage. The mother alleged the daughter poured a beer over her and slapped her. The daughter acknowledged this and was arrested for domestic violence. She was incarcerated at the Delaware County Jail.

A riding lawn mower was stolen from the outside of Sears on Columbus Pike Friday afternoon. Police have no suspects.
