Dr. Gene S. Graham has joined the practice at the Foot & Ankle Wellness Center, 1871 W. William St.
Graham has three decades of experience in central Ohio, including the past three years at a multi-discipline group practice, according to the center.
“I am excited to join this practice of professionals and doctors who really care about their patients,” Graham said. “That is what I’ve tried to do throughout my career.”
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Graham completed his residency at OSU Hospitals East after receiving his doctor of podiatric medicine degree and surgical training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
He has been a consultant for several area teams and events, including the Columbus Marathon and Otterbein University.
“I had three broken ankles from basketball and running, so I’ve been in those shoes,” Graham said. “I try to get my patients back to their sports as quickly and safely as possible.”
He also enjoys biomechanics and the art of prescribing orthotics. He also likes helping diabetic and wound-care patients, as he is a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association and a board-certified wound care specialist.
The addition of Graham will allow the center to remain open into the early evenings Monday through Thursday, and will allow the practice to offer more immediate access hours, with digital X-rays on site.
Graham will see some patients in October, and he will be on the schedule full time by Nov. 1.
