Delaware police report:

Officers responded to a home on Renner Street Thursday just before 1:30 a.m. on a report of domestic violence. A male resident reported that a female living with him struck him during an argument. He did not have signs of injury and declined to press charges. Police spoke to the woman and learned the pair had pushed and shoved each other during the argument. Police report the parties separated for the night.

A woman told police she was bitten by a dog while she was jogging in the area of Limetree Drive Thursday morning. She said the dog left its yard and bit her on the leg. She did not ask for medical attention but did show officers the bite mark and minor injury she sustained. Officers contacted the dog’s owner, who acknowledged the incident and was issued a misdemeanor summons for having animal at large.

A teenager called police after her mother punched her several times during an argument Thursday evening. Police spoke to the mother and found she was intoxicated. She denied the assault. She was taken into custody for domestic violence and held at the Delaware County Jail.
