Grand jury indictments revealed

A Delaware County grand jury issued a number of indictments Friday, including a vehicular assault case and a stalking case.

A New Albany man, Charles W. Howell, was indicted on a charge of vehicular assault, a fourth-degree felony, after county prosecutors say he swerved into oncoming traffic and caused a mishap that broke the collarbone of a pregnant woman in April. Other details of the incident were not available.

Meanwhile, Eric M. Paige, of Columbus, was indicted on a charge of menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony; telecommunications harassment, a fifth-degree felony; three counts of violating a protection order, third-degree felonies; and two counts of violating a protection order, fifth-degree felonies.

Prosecutors say Paige sent letters on several occasions and attempted to contact a girl after she had filed a protection order against him.

Other individuals indicted include:

• Anthony J. Doan, of Columbus, on two counts of nonsupport or contributing to the nonsupport of dependents, fifth-degree felonies.

• Phillip R. Albert, of 229 Beech Drive, Delaware, on two counts of possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies.

• Jami S. Caudill, of 1495 Forest Brooke Way, Delaware, on a charge of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

• Justin K. Carroll on a charge of theft, a fifth-degree felony. He was also indicted on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony, and a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, in connection with a separate incident.

• Shayla L. Johnson on a charge of burglary, a second-degree felony; and a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Ann R. Tate, of 204 Lexington Blvd., Delaware, on three counts of possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies.

• Jared K. Blackburn, of Columbus, on a charge of breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, and a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Joseph K. Buechel, of Ashley, on a charge of illegal manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony; illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony; and two counts of possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies.

• James S. Ormeroid, of 391 S Section Line Road, Delaware, on a charge of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.

• Jonathan N. Wandrey, of Westerville, on a charge of possession of drugs, a third-degree felony.

• Grant R. Zody on two counts of possession of drugs, fifth-degree felonies; and a charge of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Joey B. Slone, of 309 Chelsea St., Delaware, on a charge of domestic violence, a fifth-degree felony; and assault, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Arraignments in Delaware County Common Pleas Court have not been scheduled.
