Delaware police report:

A woman was robbed at gunpoint Thursday just before 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of West Central Avenue. The woman told police she was dropping off a friend and an unidentified white male with a handgun came up to her parked car and knocked on the window with the gun. The man took the woman’s cellphone, driver’s license and bank card before running away. The victim described the man as between 20-25 years old, with blonde hair. He was wearing a blue hooded-style sweatshirt or jacket. The woman was not injured.

A woman told police Thursday that a check had been sent to her previous home on South Sandusky Street and not her current residence on New Market Place. However, the $1,917 check was cashed by an acquaintance without her consent. Police are investigating.

A woman changed the price of a rug at Wal-Mart on Columbus Pike Thursday afternoon. Employees told police she changed the price ticket and bought the rug at a reduced price. She was also observed concealing miscellaneous pieces of costume jewelry in her purse before leaving the store without payment. She was issued a summons to appear in Delaware Municipal Court. The reported loss was $29.89

A man fled from police and left his vehicle behind Friday morning in the area of West Central Avenue. An officer attempted to pull over the vehicle for an equipment violation but, when the driver stopped the vehicle, he ran. The identity of the driver is unknown. An investigation is pending.
