A Greenville man who collapsed during the All Horse Parade last Sunday has been moved out of the intensive care unit at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

A family member told The Gazette Tuesday afternoon that Kevin Stryker, who suffered a heart attack during the parade and was transported to Grant, was alert and recovering. The family member said Stryker was scheduled to be moved out of the ICU late Tuesday.

Staff at Grant confirmed Friday that Stryker had been moved out of the ICU and moved to a room in the critical care unit, which they said was a good sign.

Staff were unwilling to provide a medical condition Friday.
