Mary Franz owns a company called Handwritten Forward that she runs locally but has over 250 people selling her artwork internationally. Not too long ago, Franz opened HFgallery at 75 E. Cherry St. in Sunbury as a home base for Handwritten Forward, and as a place to help other creative business people share their work.

HFgallery takes in consignment items and also provides space for folks to birthday parties, team-building events, bridal showers, and girls-night-out parties.

Franz said area folks can log on to handwrittenforward.com for additional information about HFgallery, a calendar of upcoming events, her “What I Know” blog.

The HFgallery is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, and is closed Mondays.

Franz said HFgallery hours are flexible and would be extended for events.
