Delaware City Schools students returned to class to classes Wednesday as the 2016-17 school year began. The school year represents another return for Delaware Hayes High School teachers Willie Duffy and Seth Frentsos, who graduated from Hayes just a few years ago. Duffy, a 2010 graduate, and Frentsos, a 2008 graduate, were preparing their classrooms Tuesday afternoon in preparation for the first day of school. Hayes will be the first full-time teaching positions for both of them.
