Delaware police report:

A traffic stop was conducted Saturday around 2:40 a.m. in the area of U.S. 23 North and East William Street. During the traffic stop, police conducted a search and found several stolen and forged credit cards. The 33-year-old driver was arrested, charged with forgery and receiving stolen property and taken to the Delaware County Jail.

A 31-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were arrested at Meijer Friday afternoon after employees spotted them attempting to leave the store without paying for several items. Police charged the couple with theft and the man was also charged with possession of drug abuse instruments after needles were found in the man’s possession.

An Ohio Wesleyan University student reported Sunday that her Marc Jacobs jacket valued at $495, was stolen from Smith Hall on South Liberty Street. She reported the theft took place on May 9. Police took a theft report.

A Dewalt 12 inch Miter saw was stolen from a truck Saturday in the area of North Franklin Street. The owner told police the saw was worth $500. A report was taken.

Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies report:

An RV was reportedly dumping its waste line into the parking lot of Flying J Travel Plaza on U.S. 37, in Sunbury on Aug. 15 around 7:22 p.m. The vehicle had gone by the time deputies arrived, but they were able to identify the vehicle and who the registered owner is. An investigation is ongoing.
