Delaware police report:

Police were called to a traffic accident on U.S. 42 Sunday just before 5 a.m. A vehicle had stopped for orange construction barrels blocking the roadway and was struck in the rear by another vehicle being operated by an impaired driver. During the crash investigation, police learned that someone had taken the barrels from a nearby construction site and used to them to block the roadway. An investigation is inactive pending further information. The impaired driver was charged with OVI.

Two tablets were stolen from a gas station on Stratford Road Sunday just before 1 a.m. The items were valued at $100 and an investigation is pending.

A 27-year-old man reported that someone had broken into his vehicle and stolen a suitcase sometime Monday morning. The suitcase contained clothes, a laptop, speakers and watches. The car was parked on Pin Oak Place when the theft occurred. Police report the vehicle was unlocked.

A can of beer was stolen from CVS on South Sandusky sometime Monday morning. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers were summoned to the 200 block of West William Street after a caller reported a man was yelling and screaming at people passing by Monday night. The man was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and taken to the Delaware County Jail.
