Free seminar will help families prepare

Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center is sponsoring a free advance planning seminar providing information on wills, trusts, health care directives, powers of attorney, Medicaid rules, and final expenses.

The seminar will be held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St at Valleyside Drive, in their reception room. Refreshments will be served, and speakers will be available to answer questions after the program.

The seminar will feature Matthew Fening, attorney with AlerStallings. Fening will discuss important legal documents to help protect your family. Pam Ulery, funeral prearrangement specialists with 20-plus years of experience, will discuss the benefits of advance funeral planning and how to get started. Paul Sherer, prearrangement specialist and Funeral Director will review a complete planning guide, free to the community.

Space is limited, so advance notice is requested. To reserve a seat, call 740-362-1611 or email so that adequate preparations can be made for food and information packets. If you are unable to attend, let the funeral home know and you can receive the planning packet.
