Police hold open house for Explorers

The Delaware Police Department’s Explorer program will hold an open house Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Police Station, 70 N. Union St.

The Explorer program is for individuals interested in a law enforcement career or those just wanting to learn more about what law enforcement officers do and how they do it. For information, contact [email protected].

Eligible are individuals age 14 (who have completed 8th grade) to age 20.

State Roue 750 reduced to one lane

State Route 750 will be reduced to one lane of traffic Wednesday between State Route 315 and US 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.

Veterans pancake breakfast planned

A veterans pancake breakfast will be held at the American Legion Post 457 in Sunbury Saturday from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Veterans will eat free; others may donate $5.
