Luncheon to support Main Street Delaware

Tickets are limited but available for the Farm-to-Table luncheon outdoors on North Sandusky Street 11 a.m. Saturday.

“This is a fundraiser for Main Street Delaware,” said Kathleen Miller, chairwoman of the luncheon.

The event also serves to bring awareness that the organization, which is known for putting on First Fridays each month, hosts the farmers’ markets in downtown.

The luncheon will feature produce donated from local farmers and chicken locally grown by Covey Rise Farms in Radnor.

“People get to have something (local) to eat,” Miller said.

Participating local restaurants will incorporate the locally-grown ingredients into their dishes.

The luncheon, which has a capacity of up to 160 people, is presented by OhioHealth. Tickets for the second Farm-to-Table luncheon are $25 per person and are available now at Button Up, 29 N. Sandusky St., at the Main Street Delaware office; or online at www.mainstreetdelaware.com.

Miller was not certain how many tickets have been sold.
