Delaware police report:

A toddler was wandering around unattended Thursday around 8:30 a.m. at an apartment on Pebble Place Drive. A resident observed the child and reported it to a city employee working nearby. Police were called by the employee and made contact with the toddler. Officers quickly located a nearby apartment, with an ajar front door, and discovered the toddler had inadvertently escaped the home. Police spoke to the mother and a report will be forwarded to Job and Family Services.

Police took a report after someone left the air out two tires sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon on Fern Drive. Police took a criminal mischief report, but no charges were filed.

A man was assaulted at an apartment on Muirwood Village Drive Thursday night. A mental health in-home caretaker was reported assaulted by a client; but after police arrived the caretaker said he did not want to press charges.
