The Delaware County Cultural Arts Center — The Arts Castle — is inviting the public to attend the 25th annual “Castle Arts Affair.”

The four-day celebration will be Nov. 5-8 at The Arts Castle, 190 W. Winter St.

This year The Arts Castle will feature a “Gifts & Garland” holiday theme, organizers say, showcasing original, affordable, high-quality fine arts including photographs, drawings, paintings, watercolors, jewelry, glassware, ceramics, fiber arts, metal, and paper arts. The 6,000 square-foot castle will showcase galleries expected to attract visitors from all over Ohio, they say.

The event’s featured artist will be Mary Williams, a Delaware artist who creates quilts and handbags.

The event includes free children’s art activities, free gift wrapping and free parking.

A preview party will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m., serving as an opening for the more than 100 artists, with food, drinks and music. Reservations are required and anyone may attend at a cost of $40 per person.

Free shopping hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

This event benefits the Arts Castle, a non-profit community arts center, serving Delaware County and surrounding counties.
