Delaware police report:

Two brothers got into a fight in a room at Grady Memorial Hospital Thursday night. Police learned that during the fight one of the men struck his brother in the face. The aggressor, a 52-year-old, was arrested and taken to the Delaware County Jail after being charged with assault.

A domestic violence report was taken at a home on Columbus Avenue Thursday afternoon. Two residents were reportedly involved in a physical altercation in the home, but when police arrived and investigated they did not find enough evidence to charged either individual.

Several incidents involving a one-year-old being transported in a vehicle without a seat belt or safety equipment from July and August were reported to police Thursday afternoon. Police investigated and learned the the family had been neglecting safety equipment. A report was filed with children services and charges of child endangerment are pending.

Police found a man smoking marijuana at the Delaware County Fair Thursday evening. During the investigation, police found the man was also in possession of heroin and found that someone the man knew was in possession of cocaine. The man was arrested and the suspected cocaine was seized and will be tested before charges can be filed against the second subject.
