Delaware police report:

A man was drunk in Delaware Municipal Court Monday morning. Police said the man came to his court hearing drunk and became disorderly during court proceedings. He was taken to the Delaware City Jail but, during the booking process, he made suicidal statements. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for a mental health evaluation and was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

A 10-year-old student was unruly at Willis Intermediate School Monday afternoon. He left class without permission, and was then taken to the school office, where he became physically violent. He attempted to destroy several objects in the office and his mother was called. However, when she arrived, he assaulted her as well. He was taken into custody by police and charged with domestic violence, assault and disorderly conduct. He was released into the care of the Delaware County Juvenile Court.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for drinking at the Phi Delta Theta House on Williams Drive Sunday just after 3 a.m. He was taken into custody and released to his mother.

A car was sprayed with a chemical in a parking lot on Downing Street Friday morning. Police said the paint was peeled off by the chemical.

Two children were removed from their Chelsea Street home by Children Services Saturday afternoon. Police received a report that they were living in unsanitary conditions with their mother. Children Services relocated the children to their grandmother’s house for the time being. No charges have been filed.

A bicycle was stolen from a home on Northwood Drive Monday night. The owner’s grandmother said the bike was worth $40.
