Harlem Township candidates night planned

Harlem Township’s Civic Association will hold its annual Candidates Night on Tuesday, Oct. 4 in the Community Room at the Township Firehouse, located at 3383 S. St. Rt. 605.

The agenda includes those running for office at the local, county, state and federal level (or their representatives) and learning about any issues that will be on the ballot.

Interested voters are invited to attend, which begins at 7 p.m.

Part of Blaney Road closing for culvert work

The Delaware County Engineer will be closing Blaney Road between State Route 61 and Rosecrans Rd. for a culvert replacement project. The road will closed Monday Oct. 3 and is scheduled to open Oct. 7.

Shade Tree Commission meeting

The city of Delaware’s Shade Tree Commission will meet in council chambers, 1 S. Sandusky St., 7 p.m. today.
