ODOT plans road work

The following work is planned in Delaware County on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or canceled without prior notice, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Crews will be performing signal work at the Polaris Parkway/Worthington Road intersection from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Traffic will be maintained through the intersection by a law enforcement officer.

State Route 750 will be reduced to one lane of two-way traffic between Lincoln Street and Hall Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday for paving and traffic signal work. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers.

PERI chapter plans meeting

Public Employees Retirees Inc.’s Delaware County Chapter #36 will meet at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5, at SourcePoint, 800 Cheshire Road, Delaware.

The speaker, Delaware County Sheriff, Russell Martin, will discuss domestic violence, scams and the current climate faced by law enforcement. For information, call Bill Friend at 740-369-2802.

SourcePoint seeks cat food donations

SourcePoint was asking the Delaware Community for donations of dry cat food after their supply of cat food was exhausted. The cat food is delivered to meals on wheels clients who have pets. SourcePoint reports the brand of the food does not matter as long as it’s dry. The food can be dropped off at SourcePoint during business hours.
