The intersection of U.S. Route 42 at Leonardsburg Road is now open, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation District 6.

A single vehicle crash and down power lines closed the road at about noon today with the duration expected to be “several hours since the power company will have to set a new utility pole,” said ODOT spokeswoman Nancy Burton.

Drivers can detour at U.S. Route 23 to state Route 229, she said.
