The Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle injury crash that occurred at approximately 4:12 p.m. on Saturday on North Galena Road south of Todd Roadin Kingston Township, Delaware County.

Christopher A. Fout, 33, of Delaware was driving a silver 2002 Subaru Forester southbound on North Galena Road. The vehicle drove off the right side of the roadway, over corrected, drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree and a fence. Fout had one passenger in his vehicle, David L. Laughrey, 37, of Marion.

Fout and Laughrey were transported to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The patrol was assisted at the scene by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, Porter Kingston Fire Department, and Delaware County EMS.

Alcohol is not suspected in the crash. Seatbelt usage is unknown at this time.

The crash remains under investigation.
