Delaware police report:

A 58-year-old woman told police she was assaulted Tuesday just before 1 a.m. at at business on Central Avenue. The woman told police she was assaulted by 58-year-old man. Police made contact with the man, arrested him and charged him with assault.

A man on Hayes Street came to the police station Tuesday afternoon to report that his vehicle was damaged overnight Monday. A criminal damaging report was taken, but there are no suspects.

Stolen medication was recovered Monday just after midnight at an apartment on South Franklin Street. Police said the medication belonged to a 30-year-old woman and identified a suspect. The information was sent to the Delaware County Grand Jury for potential charges.
