Honoring veterans


Buckeye Valley Middle School honored Delaware County veterans during its annual Veterans Day assembly on Thursday. Local veterans gathered in the school cafeteria for refreshments before the assembly in the gymnasium. Students gave the veterans in attendance a standing ovation as they entered the gym. BVMS students participated in the program, which included the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and the playing of the “Star-Spangled Banner” and “Taps.”
